We (Dan Wilcox, et al.) care very much about your privacy. We are upfront about what our applications contain, so there are no hidden surprises.
Nutshell
SpeedPitch does not collect any user information or share any user information with 3rd parties. We don't even collect anonymous usage statistics.
SpeedPitch has:
- no in-app purchases
- no third-party advertising
- no social media integration
- no collection or sharing of personal information
GPS
GPS location data is only used for live in-app processes and is not saved or shared.
Audio Recordings
No audio recordings are made.

We do not collect any personal information from children.

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application SpeedPitch ("Application") for mobile devices that was created by Dan Wilcox. The Application is a simple augmented sonic reality experiment that alters music playback rate based on actual GPS ground speed.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
The Application does not obtain obtain user information nor does it require registration.
Automatically Collected Information
In addition, the Application does not automatically collect any information.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
The Application requires location events for current speed information in order to calculate the media playback rate. The Application does not save or share your current location, either for us or for other users or partners.
If you do not want the Application to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your mobile phone settings for the Application. Note, that this will largely disable the primary purpose of the Application.
Does the application share any audio recordings made on the device?
No. The Application does not make audio recordings.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
No. The Application does not collect or share information with third parties.
What are my opt-out rights?
No information is collected and so there is no need to opt-out. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

We do not collect nor retain user provided data.
Children
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian feels that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
